Empowering Future Engineers: UCP’s Space Technology Course Wraps Up

The University of Central Punjab (UCP) proudly announces the successful conclusion of the Space Technology course for Fall 2024! Designed for undergraduate students in the Electrical Engineering Department (EED), this course provided invaluable hands-on experience in engineering and space technology.

Key Learning Areas:

🔹 Satellite Systems & Subsystems
🔹 Space Environment & Satellite Orbits
🔹 PCB Designing & Microcontroller Programming
🔹 3D Printing & Prototyping
🔹 Environmental Sensors & Live Feed Camera Modules
🔹 Antenna Design & Satellite Communications

A major highlight of the course was the design and development of antennas and RF receivers, allowing students to capture signals from NOAA satellite. This enabled them to reconstruct images for applications in image processing, environmental monitoring, weather forecasting, and disaster management.

This initiative has equipped students with practical skills essential for the future of space technology. A huge shoutout to all participants for their dedication and innovation—your contributions will help shape the next generation of space exploration! 🚀🌍
