SRC-UCP Wins 1st Position at PinTEX Expo 2025 – A Triumph of Innovation and Dedication
The Space Research Center at the University of Central Punjab (SRC-UCP) has proudly marked a significant milestone by securing 1st position at the PinTEX Expo 2025, organized by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) on April 21, 2025, at the Expo Center Lahore.
This prestigious event brought together over 600+
innovative projects, carefully selected from an astounding 1,146
submissions representing 50 universities and 19 colleges from across the province of Punjab. Standing out among such strong competition is a testament to the
SRC-UCP team’s unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in the field
of space technology.
Under the inspiring leadership of Dr. M.
Kamran Saleem (Associate Professor, EED), the team showcased student
satellite prototypes and a student satellite ground station, captivating
judges, guests, and visitors alike. Their work not only demonstrated technical skills but also embodied the spirit of STEM education and its potential
to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.
The event saw enthusiastic appreciation from
notable guests, recognizing the SRC-UCP team’s efforts in promoting space
technology and education. Their presence and performance at the Expo Center
reaffirmed the importance of hands-on learning and the real-world impact of
academic research and student innovation.
